Rope Access - Level 3

Key Standards

- Participant minimum Requirement: Rope Access Level 2 with proven practical work experience.
- Maximal Student / Instructor Ratio:  6:1
- Minimum Instructor Level: Authorized IRAA Rope Access Level 3 Examiner.
- Course location: Courses are hosted and organized by the country office.
- Course duration: up to 5 Weeks 
      Course Day 1: pre-assessment
      Personal training

                                                                                                                   Course Days 3 and 4: Classroom
                                                                                                                   Development of the HSE-Concept
                                                                                                                   Worksite visit and defence of the HSE-Concept

 

Minimum Performance Requirements

Theory
- Understanding the interconnectedness of laws (local, regional and national)
- Project Management
- Understanding of architecture of HSE-Concepts
- Development of HSE-Concepts
- Analysis of risks and risk mitigation
- Development of presentation skills
- Understanding of the role of a Rope Access L3 professional in the market

Practical applications:
- Peak performance and competences of al practical applications learned during the Level 2 course

A level 3 rope access technician is a role model when it comes to coaching, training and motivating colleagues. In addition, an L3 is also a charismatic leader, a professional who keeps the level of safety and the quality of work at a high level.
